Selling optimism (and T-shirts) since ’94. I helped hone a voice that’s witty, not punny—positive, not pushy. The goal? Copy that makes you smile and shop. I wrote everything from social posts and homepage copy to podcasts, product descriptions, brand campaigns, and partnership products.

My work contributed to revenue-driving campaigns and helped build a social audience of dedicated optimists. Notably, the #SomethingGood campaign inspired over 1 million people to engage with the brand on social media, raising $1M for the
Life is Good Kids Foundation.

Yes, the T-shirt brand had a podcast. And yes, we got Ringo Starr.

I collaborated with the co-founders of Life is Good to shape the show’s voice, writing thoughtful, offbeat interview questions and all marketing copy to promote each episode across web, email, and social.

The strategy: Blend brand storytelling with real conversations (plus a little ping-pong) to boost engagement and brand affinity.

By October 2019, the Ping Podcast ranked in the top 15 most downloaded podcasts in the U.S.
